About
Within the framework of the flexible fund made available by the EU-ACTIVA project, the rehabilitation of 16 rice paddies ( bolanhas ) in the Komo Sector was proposed. Following a tender, 15 bolanhas were selected for rehabilitation, and a study was conducted to identify intervention needs, resulting in recommendations for rehabilitation. The rehabilitation took place in two phases:
- Phase I (2017): 7 bolanhas rehabilitated
- Phase II (2018): 8 bolanhas rehabilitated

Fieldwork and capacity building | 2018 - 2019
Two fieldwork campaigns were conducted in Komo, Guinea-Bissau, the first in June-July 2018 and the second in February-March 2019, with the aim of developing activities related to data collection by target group. Data were collected in the field using different approaches, according to the different target groups, and training was provided to local technicians on this subject, using the following approaches:
